The first mineral-themed market launched by FORMOSA Mineral Expo, held over Taiwan’s Double Ten holiday at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. Built around minerals, the event also brings together collecting, craft, and everyday objects, with free public admission for its first edition.

The first Mineral Island Festa brings minerals, craft, objects, and everyday life into the same space, with a lighter atmosphere than a professional mineral show. It is a chance to see what crystals become after leaving the display cabinet. A first edition does not need to be complete; watching an event discover its own shape can be interesting in itself.
