"Limestone" is a cactus amethyst from Mexico.
The crystals retain their natural crystalline structure and layers of pale purple mineralization, with multiple crystals growing upwards, like mineral veins and peaks gradually forming between rock strata.

The Limestone series starts from the simplest relationship between minerals and rock layers.
It does not deliberately depict a complete landscape.
Nor does it pursue complex narratives.
It simply allows minerals to stand naturally upon it.
Preserving their original orientation and growth marks.

The delicate crystal structure of the cactus amethyst reveals a rich interplay of light and shadow from different angles.
The pale purple hue lies between transparent and hazy.
