Experience

Explore how memory and lived experience shape the way we perceive and understand the world.

────────────────

Experience is the understanding that gradually develops through perception.

We do not read the world in identical ways. Each observation, touch, moment of stillness, and reflection contributes to a personal way of understanding.

Within DIYU Reading System, experience represents the accumulation of reading and becomes the bridge between nature, artworks, and personal memory.

Background

────────────────

Every perception has the potential to become a memory.

These memories include not only events, but also the environments, emotions, and interpretations connected to them.

Experience is therefore more than accumulated knowledge—it continually reshapes how we read the world.

As experience grows, we begin to notice details once overlooked and gradually develop our own perspectives.

DIYU Reading

────────────────

Within DIYU Reading System, experience is not about finding a single correct interpretation.

When observing a crystal, a beginner may first notice its clarity, while someone familiar with minerals may immediately recognize growth patterns, mineral associations, or weathering.

Both readings are valid—they simply arise from different experiences.

For DIYU, experience does not replace perception; it refines it.

※ DIYU Reading System

Every reading influences the next.
