MASTER CRYSTALS

The adjacent relationship of 7–3–7
If the Channeling Crystal suggests a pathway passing through the body of the quartz, the Transmitter brings our attention back to the surface of the termination.
Its identification does not depend on two opposing faces.
Instead, it is formed by three adjacent faces:
7–3–7.
At the centre is a triangular face.
On either side of it sits a seven-sided face.
The three must appear consecutively around the termination, forming the sequence seven, three, seven. This is the most commonly used identifying pattern for the Transmitter Crystal in contemporary Master Crystal traditions.
Although both Channeling and Transmitter Crystals use the numbers seven and three, they are read differently.
In the Channeling Crystal, 7–3 depends on two faces directly opposing one another.
In the Transmitter Crystal, 7–3–7 depends on three faces standing beside one another.
The eye no longer passes through the entire crystal.
Instead, it moves along the termination — from one seven-sided face, through the central triangle, and into the second seven-sided face.
Three faces joined together,
like a direction already opening outward.

From receiving to transmitting
Within the New Age language of Master Crystals, the most direct meaning of the Transmitter is:
to send.
If the Channeling Crystal is placed on the side of receiving information, the Transmitter Crystal is more often understood as a form for sending intention, questions, or messages outward.
The central triangle therefore becomes the focal point of the configuration.
In some contemporary crystal-healing practices, a person concentrates a question, prayer, or intention upon this triangular face and imagines it as an opening through which that intention is transmitted. Other traditions describe the crystal as a means of directing consciousness toward the higher self, universal wisdom, or spiritual guidance.
This creates a natural contrast between the Transmitter and the Channeling Crystal.
One leans toward:
What am I willing to receive?
The other toward:
What do I wish to send?
Yet transmission does not necessarily mean commanding the world to produce a result.
Within many New Age practices, the first task is simply to make the intention clear.
Before a message can be sent,
one must know what one is trying to say.
And so 7–3–7 becomes more than a symbol of sending.
It returns attention to an earlier question:
What, exactly, is your message?

Between two sevens
Perhaps the most compelling part of the Transmitter Crystal is the triangle at its centre.
It is not necessarily the largest face of the termination.
Yet it stands between two seven-sided faces.
Within New Age interpretation, this small triangle becomes an opening.
Intention is gathered there.
Questions are sent from there.
Prayers, thoughts, and directions not yet fully formed are given somewhere to point.
This is characteristic of the way Master Crystals are read.
Nature leaves behind a form:
seven.
three.
seven.
Human beings look at it
and give those three adjacent faces an action.
Not waiting.
Not remaining still.
But sending something already beginning to take shape within
toward somewhere beyond.
This is why it became the Transmitter Crystal.
Not because the quartz itself spoke,
but because people once believed:
a message could have an opening through which to travel.
And within 7–3–7,
they found that opening.
