Frost Arc

日光下，白色片狀方解石沿著深色底岩層層展開，
由上方向右側緩慢延伸，
形成一道不完整卻清楚的弧形輪廓。

大小不同的晶片彼此交疊，
部分向外伸出，
部分聚集成厚實的晶花，
使黑色基岩與白色晶體之間保留鮮明界線。

在紫外線照射下，
原本灰白的方解石轉為柔和的粉紫色螢光，
晶片的邊緣、層次與排列重新被光線顯現。

同一件標本，
在明與暗之間呈現兩種觀看方式：
一種閱讀礦物的形態，
另一種閱讀藏在晶體內部的光。

Frost Arc

Under ordinary light, white tabular calcite crystals
spread across the dark natural matrix in overlapping layers.

The formation curves gradually from the upper section toward one side,
creating a distinct, incomplete arc.

Crystals of different sizes gather into dense clusters,
while others extend outward as thin plates,
preserving a strong contrast between the pale calcite
and the dark rock beneath it.

Under ultraviolet light,
the grey-white crystals reveal a soft pink-violet fluorescence.

Their edges, layers, and directions become visible again through light,
allowing the same specimen to be read in two different states:

one through mineral form,
and the other through the light held within it.
