Within the slender outline, clear areas alternate with milky white, while fine horizontal lines gather along upright faces. Light passes through the layered textures, leaving a narrow, bright opening at the centre.

From another angle, pale yellow flecks appear along the sloping edges, and previously bright areas fall into grey shadow. It is like seeing a rock face through a veil of mist: the eye follows its ridges upward and rests at the uneven top.
